What is a topic cluster?

Also called: Content cluster Updated Reviewed by the AgentMio team

Definition

A topic cluster is a group of related pages on one subject, a pillar page plus detailed subtopic pages, all connected with internal links.

Why it matters

Clusters show depth on a subject and help search engines and AI systems connect related answers across your site.

How to do it

  1. Pick a core topic and its pillar page.
  2. Create a page for each important subtopic or question.
  3. Link every page to the pillar and to closely related pages.

Example

AgentMio's glossary works as a cluster: each term links to related terms, the index and the matching feature page.
